Commercial Work — Hydraid
Hydraid Spec Ad.
The Challenge
Logistical hurdles included a tight schedule, multiple locations, and a very low budget, all while directing a young but very ambitious student crew. However, the ultimate crisis hit during post-production: Hydraid launched a complete rebranding, rendering all the prominently featured products in our footage instantly outdated.
On set — Hydraid Spec Ad
The Goal
Produce a high-end spec ad for Hydraid, showcasing cinematic storytelling and top-tier visual excellence.
The Approach
To save the project without altering the carefully crafted cinematography or the integrity of the storytelling, I leveraged cutting-edge AI tools. What would normally require weeks of manual labor was heavily accelerated through AI workflows: through an immense yet highly efficient amount of retouching, I seamlessly updated the branding on all products retroactively.
The Result
A flawless, high-end commercial featuring the brand's newest look. The project not only demonstrates strong problem-solving skills on set, but also proves how unexpected, massive setbacks can be efficiently resolved using AI in post-production without making any artistic compromises.

The AI Retouch
A closer look at the rebrand fix itself — logo, lighting and product retouching, each shown as its own before/after pass. See the full story in AI Production.
